Edwin Kiambi is a Social Worker with the Simama Project where he contributes to the welfare and development of children and families through Simama’s child protection and education programs. He is also responsible for managing the organization's social media platforms where he helps grow Simama’s online presence and serves as the organization’s photographer.

Edwin joined the Simama Project in 2017 as a secondary school student and is a proud alumni of the program. His personal journey through Simama has given him a unique understanding of the organization's mission and impact, inspiring him to give back to the community that supported his growth.

He holds a Diploma in Social Work from Meru National Polytechnic. Before pursuing a career in social work, Edwin worked in various positions that were not directly related to his profession. These experiences helped him develop valuable life and workplace skills that have contributed to his professional growth. 

Outside of work, Edwin enjoys adventure and exploring new places as a way of refreshing his mind after busy work schedules. He also enjoys playing volleyball during his free time, particularly in the evenings, as a way of staying active and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
